Music Parents

What is Music Parents?

Music Parents is a program to assist, support, and advocate for our music department. They assist the music department in raising funds, running festivals, and organizing events. Music parents support the department by providing funds for new music, guest-artists, and clinicians. Music Parents advocate for our music program both within the schools and the community.

Specific examples:

• Selling ice cream after concerts

• Running the concession stand when hosting festival

• Providing the funds to order new pieces such as First Finger Rock, Game of Thrones theme song, and Low Rider.

• Guest composer working with the band, and sponsoring a piece
